X-ray film AGFA D5 NIF 24x30

Description:

X-ray film AGFA D5 NIF 24x30

Industrial fine-grain radiographic film, medium sensitivity and high contrast. It finds most common applications in lumen materials in the aviation and space industry, nuclear reactors, pressure vessels and compressor blades for the inspection of cast parts and fillet welds and joints of medium thickness.

Packing:
NIF - sheets of film are in a general envelope without paper linings, 100 sheets, the most economical option.
The packaging is opaque. Requires pre-charging in a darkened room.

It is used for tasks when it is required to provide a radiographic image of increased quality, both with conventional and multi-film technology for testing products of different thicknesses. Certified for industrial x-ray inspection class C4 according to ISO 11699-1 classification.

Since AGFA D5 is in the middle between AGFA D4 and AGFA D7 films in terms of sensitivity to radiation, it is used in the control of complex profiles using multi-film technology when loading several different-sensitivity photographic films into a cassette.

Properties:

  • protection against damage to the photo layer during packaging and unpacking;
  • protection against damage to the photo layer when taking a picture;
  • without glare and re-reflections;
  • without damage to the photolayer during chemical-photographic processing;
  • you can use roller processing machines;
  • antistatic protection.

Storage conditions:

  • the best storage temperature t = 4°-24°C;
  • air humidity 50-60%;
  • boxes with film must be placed on the edge, away from the chemical. reagents;
  • radioactive background < 90 nGy/h;
  • at t below 4°C, there are no irreversible changes in the sensitometric parameters of the film, but after such exposure, boxes with film should be opened after they have warmed up to the operating range (t = 4°-24°C). Otherwise, moisture may condense, which may cause inhomogeneities and sticking of the film;
  • if properly stored, the manufacturer gives a guarantee for a shelf life of at least 1.5 years. It is listed on the packaging.
